GUIDELINE TO WRITING RESEARCH PROPOSAL:

1. All applicants for Master by Research and Doctor of Philosophy need to email the Research Proposal to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
2. The research proposal should include project title, objectives, research background, problem statement, significant contribution, research methodology and conclusion.

1. Candidates are allowed to choose up to three (3) programmes based on your interest.
2. The University College of Islam Melaka will not process any uncompleted on-line application.

Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS), was established on 1 April 2011. This faculty offers the first bachelor degree program in KUIM  which is  Bachelor of Psychology (Honours). Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences also offers Master in Communication which is currently manage by the Institute of Postgraduate Studies. KUIM's Department of Language is also under this faculty management. Associated languages are English, Arabic and Malay. This department is arranging a cooperation 1 year Malay Language program with Busan University of Foreign Studies (BUFS), South Korea. Where BUFS will sent its undergraduate to KUIM for enhancing their Malay language skills. This faculty also have a good demand for its Diploma In Mass Communication and in future will offer a bachelor degree program which focus on media.

Faculty of Languages and Education (FLE) was upgraded from the Center for Language and General Studies from May 1, 2017. There are two (2) positions created under the FBP, the Department of Languages and the Department of Education. Language Department will offer two (2) new program, Diploma and Diploma of Arabic Language Career Professionals Bahasa Inggeris. Next the FBP also offers mandatory courses University College (WKU) to students in diploma and bachelor's degree, in addition to courses in English and Mandarin Chinese as an elective. Meanwhile, the Education Department has now offer a diploma program in Early Childhood Education (DPAKK) which received very good at this time. At the same time, post-graduate education program called the Master of Education (M.Ed.) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) has been offered in the form of full-time research students.

The Faculty of Science and technology was established in 2005 in accordance to the change of its name to International Islamic Technological College Melaka. The foundation of the establishment of the faculty started with the twinning program with UTM and making the Diploma in Business Information System as the first program of this faculty. In Mei 2005, UTM had authorized the twinning program through its two offering programs which are Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Diploma in Electronic Engineering whereby its first intake was in December 2005. About the same year, the building to place the Faculty of Science and technology had completed its construction. It is comprised of lecture halls, tutorial rooms, studio, computer lab, science lab that is conformable to the needs set by the UTM. The development of the faculty is in tune to its future academic planning including the establishment of new programs associated with science and technology. In the coming future, it offers Diploma in Biotechnology Management in cooperation with the Institute of Biotechnology Malaysia.
