TAHAP PENGETAHUAN TENTANG CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION DALAM KALANGAN JURURAWAT DI NEGERI MELAKA

Abstract


Pengenalan: Jururawat merupakan staf kesihatan pertama yang mengenalpasti dan memulakan Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) di hospital. Pengetahuan dan kemahiran CPR dalam kalangan jururawat akan mempengaruhi morbiditi dan mortaliti pesakit di hospital. Objektif: Kajian ini dijalankan bertujuan untuk menganalisis tahap pengetahuan tentang Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) di kalangan jururawat di sebuah hospital swasta di Negeri Melaka dan meneliti hubungkait antara pengkhususan klinikal dan pengalaman kerja dengan tahap pengetahuan mengenai CPR. Methodologi: Kajian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan persampelan rawak mudah dari kalangan jururawat di sebuah hospital swasta di Melaka. Seramai 141 orang responden dari kalangan jururawat telah menjawab soal selidik yang diedarkan. Kajian dijalankan dengan menggunakan soal selidik yang terdiri daripada demografik tahap Pendidikan, pengkhususan tempat kerja, kekerapan melakukan CPR, menghadiri kursus CPR, pengalaman kerja. Data di analisis dengan menggunakan SPSS 22.0. Dapatan kajian: Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan tahap pengetahuan mengenai CPR di kalangan jururawat dikategorikan lemah dengan peratusan 35.2%, manakala terdapatnya korelasi positif yang lemah r=0.341 antara pengkhususan klinikal dengan tahap pengetahuan CPR dalam kalangan jururawat dan korelasi positif yang kuat r=0.70 antara pengalaman kerja dengan tahap pengetahuan CPR dalam kalangan jururawat yang menyertai kajian ini. Rumusan: Kajian mendapati 35.2% daripada jururawat berdaftar di sebuah hospital swasta di Melaka mempunyaipengetahuan yang kurang mengenai Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Walaupun terdapat korelasipositif yang lemah antara pengkhususan klinikal dan pengetahuan CPR, ia kekal lemah dalam semua pengkhususan. Walau bagaimanapun, terdapat korelasi positif yang kuat antara pengalaman bekerja dan pengetahuan CPR, menunjukkan bahawa jururawat yang mempunyai tahun pengalaman yang banyak mempunyai tahap pengetahuan yang lebih tinggi. Kajian ini menggariskan keperluan untuk programlatihan CPR yang kerap yang boleh disertai oleh semua pengkhususan dan tahap pengalaman untuk meningkatkan hasil penjagaan pesakit serta mengurangkan kadar morbiditi dan kematian yang berkaitan dengan serangan jantung.
