TINGKAH LAKU KEBERGANTUNGAN TERHADAP TELEFON BIMBIT DALAM KALANGAN GELANDANGAN
Abstract
Telefon bimbit berfungsi sebagai alat untuk berkomunikasi sesama manusia tanpa mengira status sosial, sosiodemografi mahupun pendapatan seseorang. Golongan gelandangan juga tidak terkecuali daripada menikmati manfaat telefon bimbit. Hal ini memberi peluang kepada kelompok gelandangan untuk berhubung dan dan berurusan mengenai pelbagai perkara. Disebabkan oleh pelbagai manfaat, wujud sikap kebergantungan masyarakat terhadap teknologi khususnya telefon bimbit. Sebuah kajian menggunakan kaedah campuran dengan menggabungkan kaedah kuantitatif dan kualitatif telah dilaksanakan pada Disember 2020 untuk mengkaji bentuk tingkah laku kebergantungan gelandangan terhadap telefon bimbit. Hasil kajian kualitatif ke atas 9 orang responden telah membawa kepada penemuan beberapa tema seperti menghabiskan masa menggunakan telefon, bergantung pada telefon dalam mendapatkan maklumat, ketagihan pada telefon dan membentuk perasaan lebih selesa dengan menghantar mesej berbanding bersemuka. Sementara itu, hasil dapatan kuantitatif ke atas 200 orang responden turut membuktikan bentuk tingkah laku kebergantungan yang hampir serupa dalam kalangan responden. Maka, hasil kajian menunjukkan wujud tingkah laku kebergantungan dalam kalangan gelandangan terhadap telefon bimbit. Hasil kajian ini boleh dijadikan input kepada penggubal dasar, pemaju program dan pengurus kes sosial di negara ini untuk memahami keperluan telefon bimbit dalam kalangan golongan terpinggir selain menjadi input kepada penyedia perkhidmatan sosial bagi menyediakan perkhidmatan sosial yang lebih komprehensif dan inklusif.
